Data integrity means your records are trustworthy enough for life-and-death decisions. Regulators expect records that are ALCOA+—Attributable, Legible, Contemporaneous, Original, Accurate, plus Complete, Consistent, Enduring, and Available. When records are electronic, the expectations are governed by 21 CFR Part 11 in the United States and by EU GMP Annex 11 in Europe/UK (with MHRA and EMA guidance).
